Highway 53
The Highway 53 inspection station is located on highway 53 nine (9) miles southwest of Rathdrum, Idaho.
The Highway 53 inspection station will open May 8 and operate through September 30. The Highway 53 station will operate all day light hours seven (7) days a week.
The Highway 53 boat/watercraft inspection station performed 5,195 inspections for their 2019 season. Of these inspections, only 1 hotwash was performed. Thirty eight (38) vehicles were returned to the inspection station by law enforcement officers.
